Classification and working principle of spreader cable drum!

The cable drum of spreader is divided into hysteresis variable frequency drive and PLC variable frequency drive. The cable winding mode is divided into coil type and drum type.The most critical performance requirement of hoist cable drum: the cable lifting speed is consistent with the hoist running speed and maintains a certain tension, but must not bear the weight of the hoist.

Major components include drum, reducer, hysteresis coupling, frequency conversion motor, slip ring box, etc.

 

Working principle:

Hysteresis variable frequency drive sling cable reel adopts a single row of multi-layer winding reels to store cables. The drive mechanism of the cable reel contains a hysteresis coupling and is driven by a variable frequency motor. Due to the effect of the hysteresis coupling, the cable tension is always below the limit value, and no cable core breaking accident will occur. The electric control system quickly and accurately sets the speed of the motor according to the speed and height of the spreader to ensure that the spreader cable accurately follows the spreader, that is, there will be neither cable loosening nor cable pulling the spreader.

 

Advantage:

1.  The lifting speed of the cable is always consistent with the running speed of the hanger to ensure that the running is stable and to protect the cable to the maximum extent;

2.  The operating speed can be up to 300m/min;

3.  Its max. coiled cable specication is 80 x 2.5mm2 and the length is 100m;

4.  Its installation height can be up to 70m.
